Developmental Editing

Developmental editing is the most in-depth editing service that I provide. I will ensure that your work is clear and well organised, your plot and its pace are consistent and your character development is appropriate. I will also offer suggestions for rewrites, which I am happy to undertake once discussed.

Line Editing

Line editing is the next step on from proofreading. I will review your work line by line to analyse your word choice, tone and syntax. I will offer suggestions for tightening up your manuscript while keeping your author voice intact.

Proofreading

I will proofread your work for spelling mistakes and grammatical errors to ensure that the meaning of your content is understood. This will include checking that words are capitalised correctly and the appropriate punctuation is used.

Sample Edit

I provide a free sample edit of a part of your fiction work to demonstrate my proofreading and editing style to you.

This also helps me to get a feel for the level of proofreading and / or editing that you require.
